Photo of the Week

This photo was taken in Lyttelton Harbour. In the center of the shot is Quail Island which was once used for quarantine and a leper colony.

This image is delayed because I've been quite busy. I almost posted it last week a but I feel asleep, and then the same thing happened a couple days ago.

Last week I was on Quail Island 3 days in a row. We'd head over in the morning, run around the Island, loaded up like a donkey, dropping off raft parts. Then we'd head back to base and run around the Island again with the kids while they collected the raft parts. Then after lunch would be the raft building and a tyrolean traverse.

Then I was in Purau for 3 days and 2 nights with my Youth Leadership Training group. The first morning was a 5am start, but luckily they were convinced that sleeping in was a good thing for the second morning. Still, lots of running around, swimming, etc.
